I first got into photography because of a girl I knew in Africa. I really liked her and she was a good photographer so I thought this was something to get interested in. My thinking was if she likes taking pictures and I do it too, she would get interested in me.

That kind of worked and we became good friends but what I found was that my photography become more important to me. I’d take pictures and get her to look at them and give me tips on how they could be better.

Gradually my skill improved and so did my way of seeing things.

I now have built up a portfolio of photographs.
